Amazing!! I've been to a lot of 1 Michelin stars that have left me disappointed in the past, but musket room EXCEEDED my expectations. $125 for 7 courses is extremely fair for what you get. The service was very attentive. The highlights are: -homemade sourdough boule with anchovy butter (10/10)- this butter was OUT OF THIS WORLD. literally tasted like I was eating caviar on warm, buttery bread. -Kristal caviar foam (10/10)- the texture of this dish blew me away. the foam evaporates on your tongue but has an incredible savoriness and umami. the caviar portion is generous and really compliments the foam. I couldn't get enough the scallop was the sweetest and freshest I had in a while; the oyster was good; the broth used with the mackerel was light yet extremely rich; the cherry cornbread was surprisingly good. they also give a little 3 treat dessert box to go. I don't usually feel compelled to revisit restaurants, but this has made my list. go check it out!!

Solo dined for a special occasion, I was sat at the window table where I could people watch as I enjoyed the tasting menu and wine pairing. First and foremost - the service was incredible. As a solo diner you get one of two experiences - you're rushed out or you're attended to like a queen, my experience at The Musket Room was the latter. A few highlights - the anchovy butter - addictive. I should have smuggled the ramekin and the other half of the sourdough loaf back to the SoHo Grand. Second the dashi that was served with the mackerel and summer cherry tomatoes was exquisite. The wagyu and the sauce/ purée it was accompanied by was absolutely lush. Such a treat. The wines were beautifully matched and I enjoyed being walked through each pairing. The team was extremely knowledgeable and deliberate with their choices. 10/10 thank you!

Celebrated an anniversary at the Musket Room and had a wonderful time. The decor is rustic and presented a laid back vibe, however the staff were all top notch. From the acknowledgement of our celebration from multiple staff members to the attentiveness throughout the entire meal and accommodations for food aversions/allergies, they exceeded even my high expectations from this caliber of restaurant. We were seated at a spacious table and never felt rushed throughout the night. We had the omnivore menu and many dishes from the vegan menu, two supplements, a wine pairing, Mocktail, and we ordered a decadent chocolate cake ahead of time to celebrate the evening. All of the menu items were superb, some highlights were the Kristal caviar cauliflower foam course, Iberico ham and smoked mussels supplement, Ora king salmon substitution, and the tomato tofu dish. I would not hesitate to order everything on the menu again. Additionally, the wine pairing was outstanding, paired wonderfully, and a great value, and the Somm was awesome and willing to answer any of my questions. The fact that this wonderful restaurant is on InKind just increases the value.

A wonderful spot that provides a fantastic Vegan tasting menu and an omnivore option for those who are not of the same palate. This is a review of the tasting menu for Omnivore $145 and iberico pork supplement for $18 (4/5) Honestly, the white asparagus ALONE could have made this place a 5/5 because those are some phenomenal veggies. Texture, plating, and each bite being a new surprise was an EXPERIENCE. Service is on-point, they always made sure we were okay and refilled accordingly even without being asked. Exquisite Service for sure. (5/5) Other than that this is probably one of the best Vegetarian tasting menus that a person can get as Musket Room is making strides. A point taken down because the casual atmosphere brought some really loud guest that took away from appreciating the environment or food as a nice date spot. Some of the food also did not really hit like the halibut or potato cauliflower. Can't say I was the biggest fan of them. If you do get the garden (It is a rule that you MUST be punctual, it would be an EASY 5/5. It looks beautiful and most likely out of the way from all the noise) The Musket room is absolutely worth the visit for Vegans specifically and for those willing to give Vegan tasting menus a try as the Omnivore gives you the best of both worlds. P.S. The bathroom is great. No complaints. It is very clean and you honestly feel rude messing it up.
